Dali Mpofu thinks the EFF will boycott President Obama's speech

- Economic Freedom Fighters chairman Dali Mpofu hints at boycott plans on the boycott of Obama’s Mandela lecture by the EFF

- Mpofu allegedly blames Barack Obama for the death of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi

- There are some doubts about the authenticity of the comments made by Mpofu on social media

Dali Mpofu, national chairperson of the EFF stated on social media that his party will be boycotting the planned lecture by Barack Obama.

The former United States president is expected to give the 16th Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture. The event takes place at the Wanderers Cricket Stadium in Johannesburg.

The Citizen reported that Mpofu replied on social media to a comment by Sixolise Gcilishe, the communications manager of the EFF.

Mpofu feels Barack Obama is partly responsible for the murder of Muammar Gaddafi, former Libyan leader who was killed in 2011.

Briefly.co.za gathered that there is some doubt on whether or not the comments were truly made by Mpofu.
