Ntsiki Mazwai dubs Madiba's legacy a money-making scheme: It's a bunch of elitist bullsh*t

Madiba is not getting a happy birthday from Ntsiki Mazwai, in fact she chose to celebrate his ex-wife during her 67 minutes to remember Mandela.

On Wednesday Mazwai threw some serious shade at the father of the nation, dubbing his legacy a money-making scheme and a load of bullsh*t.

TimesLIVE reported Mazwai wrote about how Mandela’s legacy was all about the money, adding his ex-wife, Ma Winnie Madikizala-Mandela was stronger than the late former SA president.

"This money making scheme called the Mandela legacy...bunch of elitist bullsh*t qha," she wrote.

Needless to say, her beliefs regarding Mandela’s legacy received mixed reactions. Some social media users disagreed with her while others backed Mazwai, adding Madiba sold out his people to become president.

Social media user @xifaniso commented, “Legends are celebrated everywhere around the world y fussy about Mandela? As long as they are not using TAX PAYERS MONEY take a chill pill. So we should celebrate Sankara, Kwame Krumma, Luther King ....but can't celebrate ours Hebanna!”

However, there were those who agreed with Mazwai- some tweeps felt Mandela sold out his people and his ex-wife, the late Ma Winnie, was the actual hero.

While Mazwai threw shade at Madiba’s legacy, the rest of the world celebrated the iconic leader. As Briefly.co.za reported earlier, several countries honour Mandela with Gala dinners and exhibitions.
