A lesbian couple took to social media to ask tweeps help in finding someone who would be willing to help them start a family.
Melanie Crystal, aka Mellie on Twitter, and her wife want to start a family. However, they require a sperm donor to make their dream of a baby come true.
So, Mellie took to the place she and her wife had the best shot at finding a willing donor- the internet.
Taking to her Twitter account, Mellie wrote how she and her wife dreamt of starting a family, but they needed tweeps' help to find their perfect donor.
"PLEASE RT. My wife and I are trying to start our family and need help finding a sperm donor!! Must be African American, healthy, & std free! Please make this go viral so my wife and I can find someone to help give us the gift of life!" she captioned the post.
Tweeps showed Mellie and her wife a lot of support and the post received over 2900 retweets since being posted on Tuesday.
But, not everyone was so supportive of the two wives wanting to start a family and a lot of homophobic comments came streaming in.
However, Neither Mellie nor her wife allowed the haters of discouraging them to start their own family.
