Enhle Mbali hospitalised after traumatic attempted hijacking

The beautiful South African actress and wife of Black Coffee, Enhle Mbali Maphumulo, was hospitalised yesterday afternoon due to a tragic hijacking.

She was hijacked by three men who were armed. The incident took place in Hyde Park, Johannesburg, reported Sowetan Live.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Enhle was driving the new Porsche that her husband bought her when the incident happened.

Captain Kay Makhubele, police spokesperson, gave comment confirming the hijacking yesterday evening.

He said that they are aware of the incident and that police attended the scene with haste. They have not yet gotten a statement from Enhle.

According to a report from Times Live, Enhle was robbed by three men of which two had guns and the third a hammer. They apparently pulled her from her car and took all of her jewellery. The exact report of what was taken has not been confirmed yet.

Mpho Sibanyoni reported that the experience was traumatic. She also stated that Enhle went into shock and is still in hospital. Her friend, Jarred Doyle, confirmed that the incident took place around 4pm.

The actress was rushed to hospital shortly after the incident.
