Errol Velile Present, former ANC employee, was arrested for his alleged involvement in a Soweto cash-in-transit heist.

However, his wife remains adamant that he is innocent and the police should let him go.

TimesLIVE reports the depressed wife said that she is very shocked by her husband's arrest. She is finding it hard to cope with the situation.

She claims to have lost weight since Present's arrest and can't bring herself to eat. She added that she can't see Present to ask him what is going on.

According to Present's wife, his lawyer informed her that there was an identity parade but the witnesses did not point him out.

This proves to Present's wife that her husband is innocent and she feels the police should let him go.
