Leolo village residents drink the same water as animals and it enrages South Africans

South Africans took to social media to share their opinions on the living standards of the Leolo village residents.

Rudzani Tshivhase shared a photo of a woman, who went to get water from the same place where their animals drink.

Tshivhase went on to explain how the residents of Leolo village still have to live, despite having a government who vowed to better the lives of their people/

“Residents of Leolo village near Jane Furse in Limpopo still share drinking water with animals at local streams. School kids still walk for kilometers as there is no scholar transport system in place. #sabcnews,” the post was captioned.

The post sparked a debate on Twitter, were many tweeps asked why South Africans were still voting for a party that kept its own people oppressed.

“I’ve been pushing and using the head to fetch water for my whole childhood. Thank You ANC they failed to finish what was started by IFP in my area,” @ScottAfrica commented.

Social media user @peace_inourland wrote, “Anc and DA are working together to oppress black people, how is that happening ,DA tycoons fund Anc and dictate how the govt should be run,services are rendered first to places where whites live then blacks after.”
