Thandiswa Mazwai clapped back at one tweep who chose to use her as an example in his own tweet about musicians today.
This tweep commented on missing Brenda Fasie as “she would have known what to sing about to uplift the masses” adding that “female artists today only learnt how to get naked from Fassie and lost music content.”
They then made specific reference to Thandiswa stating:
“still holding it down my Sister don't allow greed into your Heart.”
Thandiswa took except to the tweet and clapped back with her own thoughts.
The Tweeps then offered up humble apologies.
Tweeps then responded to the comments.
And a debate ensued.
Thandiswa has successfully carved her own place in the South African entertainment sector and Briefly.co.za recently featured an article on 4 female SA celebrities who consider themselves kings.
Guess who made it onto the list? That’s right, none other than our very own Thandiswa who gave herself the title of King Tha. Thandiswa celebrated her birthday in true style by gathering her girls to celebrate at the Newtown Music Factory for a show titled KING THA DAY.
