We all remember ‘the yellow dress’ from the Metro FM Awards in 2017 that Skolopad wore. She has since then on more than one occasion, posted salacious snap shots of herself. The entertainer, however, states that it should be all about her talent!

It has only be recent that Mzansi has been given the opportunity to hear Skolopad’s songs. She said that she is of the opinion that the snap shots of herself have surpassed her real talent, reported Times Live.

She added that women in the industry need to be respected and as a woman herself she expects nothing less. Even though some of her clothing might be revealing, she is still a mother, someone’s daughter and she is a talented woman.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Skolopad said that her nudity has nothing to do with her talent.

In a statement, she said that people should not limit her to her body and forget about the musician she is. She made a comparison with international talent with the likes of Beyonce that appears on many occasions without clothing and yet she is still seen for the talent she is.

Skolopad is asking the public for the same response to her musical talent and to not put so much emphasise on the times where she is a little under dressed!

Skolopad was so disgusted when she was asked by a certain promoter to remove her name off the accommodation list as she can sleep over. She said just because she shows more skin than others, does not mean she is available to sleep with random event organisers.

She commented further to say that she feels it is not an entertainment industry thing, but a South African man thing. She said when S A men see half naked or naked women, they automatically take it as an invitation for sexual advances!
