South Africans were shocked to hear that the person responsible for the horrible scandal of the Life Esidimeni tragedy has been elected into the ANC committee yet again.

The Daily Maverick reports it has been confirmed that Qedani Mahlangu was re-elected into the Provincial Executive Committee.

Disgraced Mahlangu resigned after the Life Esidimeni events.

Qedani was elected back into a position of power by the ANC, and they will likely face a lot of heated reaction to this decision. This decision could also lead to South Africans questioning the motives and effectiveness of the ANC.

Briefly.co.za earlier reported on the Life Esidimeni tragedy, that led to the deaths of over 143 people, left South Africans shocked and disappointed.

Relatives and loved ones of the victims of the tragic Life Esidimeni events are furious and deeply upset that the person they blame for it all has been reinstated into the ANC's committee.
