Zizo and Mayihlome Tshwete's love story could be on the rocks, if unconfirmed reports are anything to go by.

According to a Sunday Sun report, family insiders alleged that the couple has been living apart for several months.

The paper quoted Mayihlome's friend, who claimed that the former Home Affairs spokesperson hasn't been seen with Zizo at social events in recent times.

On Zizo's side, one of her friends alleged that the couple is often heard having arguments over the phone.

While there is no indication what the alleged dispute is about, family members reportedly stepped in to mediate. Both Zizo and Mayihlome declined to speak to the media.

Zizo, a popular TV personality, got married to Mayihlome in 2015. They have a two-year-old son together. In a past interview on Touch Central, Zizo gushed over her hubby:

My husband is the best guy in the world for me, we met each other, went on a date literally the next day and we've been together ever since for six years. It was just one of those connections that were instantaneous I can't explain it.
