- Tebello Kutoane is an admitted attorney of the high court
- She also runs her own consultancy firm
- True Love Magazine has featured her in its Women's Month edition
A young attorney who is breaking new ground for South African women in the legal fraternity has been recognised for her efforts.
True Love Magazine has featured 28-year-old Tebello Kutoane in its Women's Month edition, Briefly.co.za gathered.
Tebello shared the exciting news on her Twitter profile recently, adding that she was honoured to be featured.
As Briefly.co.za previously reported, Tebello was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in June this year.
She is also the founder of Midrand-based Collective Intelligence, a fully black- and female-owned consultancy firm that provides legal advice for individuals and startup businesses.
In a recent interview with forwomeninlaw.blogspot.com, Tebello said young women need to be brave enough to pursue their dreams. She added:
I want to create a platform where a black, female attorney can be judged on merit and not what she can do for a company’s BEE rating.
Tebello's profile is steadily rising. For instance, she will be a speaker at Ayana Magazine's Women in Business Breakfast in September.
At the event, professional and business women will discuss challenges affecting them and how to empower more women.
