Twitter pokes fun at DA for latest motion against Patricia de Lille

DA member and Western Cape mayor Patricia de Lille was to face a second motion of no confidence. However, after a meeting between de Lille and the DA, the motion was withdrawn.

South Africans responded to the news of the withdrawn motion with humour, saying the DA is confused.

Twitter streets were resounding with the laughter of South African tweeps as they made fun of the DA.

Some South Africans predicted that de Lille would walk away from this second motion of no confidence just like she did with the first one.

Briefly.co.za earlier reported on how Patricia de Lille would remain a member of the Democratic Alliance and would return to her position as the Mayor of the City of Cape Town.

This was after the Western Cape High Court ruled that the DA’s decision to revoke her party membership was unlawful and invalid.
