Twitter user @YandiN_ shared her inspiring story of how she overcame mental illness to graduate as in Industrial Psychology in 2017.

The young woman missed some of her semesters and suffered from depression but kept working hard and finally graduated.

She admitted she had to see a clinical psychologist and psychiatrist before things got better for her.

After many nights of studying and sheer determination to achieve her dreams, @YandiN_ now faces another obstacle: money.

She is asking kind and generous South Africans to look into their hearts and help her fully graduate in August. She has already started paying off her study debts but still owes the university.

Here is her story in her own words:

Hello Everybody.
After years of struggling with life and various challenges I finally completed my Industrial Psychology degree in 2017. Graduation season here and I would like to ask for your assistance to pay off my fees so I can graduate with the next group of students in Aug
I started my degree in 2012,but due to mental health issues,I had to miss a few semesters as I'd wait for my long bouts of depression to pass bc I had no access to psychologists and psychiatrists at the time.
After many missed semesters and most importantly, after seeking help from medical professionals and being linked up with a great clinical psychologist and psychiatrist, I was able to complete my studies last year.
Although I completed my studies in 2017,I haven't been able to graduate due to outstanding tuition. I couldn't sign a loan/payment agreement as I was unemployed,as a result, I couldn't graduate in April 2018.
The university is also withholding my transcripts so I'm unable to apply for post graduate studies.
I recently secured a job which has helped me start paying off my debt at UWC. Due to circumstances, I am unable to continue working for the month July/August which means I won't have an income to pay towards tuition.
If you are in a position to make a donation towards my tuition, I'd really appreciate it. If you aren't able to make a donation at the moment, I'd forever be grateful if you'd RT my thread.

A few generous souls have already started helping @YandiN_ and hopefully it won't be long before she has secured her graduation.
