A South African student has proudly graduated with an MSc in Naval Architecture from the University of Southampton in the UK.
Lungisa Boswell shared photos of his graduation, which happened on 25 July, on Twitter, Briefly.co.za gathered.
He is a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters, which turned five years old on the same day. It was therefore a double celebration for him, he said.
According to his Twitter bio, Lungisa also holds a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. Additionally, he is a PhD candidate.
Lungisa's tweet inspired many tweeps and has garnered over 2,400 likes. His followers congratulated him on his achievement. See some of their reactions below.
Lungisa is the latest among many South Africans who have obtained academic qualifications abroad.
