Some have dubbed Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini a sell-out after he met with members of the Afrikaans organisation AfriForum on Thursday.
According to the head of AfriForum, Kallie Kriel, the meeting between AfriForum and the Zulu royalty had a historic importance.
However, social media users disagreed and soon dubbed King Zwelithini a traitor for meeting with the Afrikaners at his Enyokeni royal residence near Nongoma in KZN.
Twitter parody account Man's Not Barry Roux posted a photo of the Zulu King with Kallie Kriel, Jerome Ngwenya and Flip Buys, which AfriForum shared after the meeting.
Briefly.co.za learned a sarcastic Man's Not Barry Roux went on the say he did not blame king Zwelithini for betraying Africans, since he wore a sell-out's shirt, referring to Nelson Mandela.
"I don't blame the king, he is wearing a shirt of sellouts. How would he not sellout?", he captioned the post.
Tweeps reacted to Man's Not Barry Roux's post, and it was evident that some shared his ideals over the king's meeting with AfriForum.
