Fans of Sofa Slahlane were shook over the story of the love story of Sangoma Sipho Khumalo and his snakes.
Sofa Slahlane dished up some interesting relationship stories, but the recent episode might just take the biscuit, or at least rank amongst the top three.
Fans of the hit Mzansi show were introduced to Sipho Khumalo, whose own mother calls him the Devil.
Khumalo’s story is one of a kind- he loves his snakes more than people. TshisaLIVE reported the menace, as his neighbours dubbed him, owns 13 snakes, six of which are pythons.
Needless to say, the people living close to Khumalo, a sangoma by trade, are not happy about the slithering company he keeps.
Briefly.co.za learned the snake enthusiast said he’s aware his neighbours were upset and afraid of his snakes, but he does not care what they think because he is not betraying his reptiles.
Meanwhile, social media users took to Twitter to express their views on Khumalo and his pet snakes.
Some tweeps explained they understand where he is coming from in terms of his views on other human beings.
Social media user @Flameless_Fire wrote, “At least you know what to expect from the snake that looks like a snake. The snakes who look like friends are a different story.”
Most tweeps worried the safety of his neighbours while others added they were not going near Khumalo’s house, ever!
