In a nail-biting title match, South Africa's Gideon Buthelezi went toe to toe with Argentina's Lucas Emmanuel Fernandes Leone in a boxing match which went the full 12 rounds.
The bout was fought at the International Convention Centre in East London. When the judges reached their unanimous decision, Buthelezi retained the IBO junior bantamweight title after defending it for the fourth time.
At 32, Buthelezi weighs in at just 52.10kg matching his opponent Leone pound for pound who also weighed in at 52.10kg.
The heavily tattooed Argentinian is ranked 28 by the IBO and was struggled to stay relevant in the match against Buthelezi. Leone was kept out of the match by Buthelezi who led his opponent around the ring and dictated the course of the fight.
