17-year-old Gontse Morake set a new national youth record at the Athletics SA Youth and Junior Championships and made South Africans' chests swell with pride.
The young athlete looked like she was flying around the track and finished in 57.81 seconds - beating the previous record of 57.91 seconds.
Morake also bagged a gold medal in the girls triple jump.
People were so impressed with Morake that they took to social media to congratulate her on her achievements.
