Robbie Malinga Jnr opens up about losing his dad and the haters

Robbie Malinga Jnr lost his father a mere seven months ago. The loss of his father has not been easy and has brought a lot of negative attention into his life.

He was recently interviewed by TshisaLIVE. The interview was based around the loss of his father, his life style and the negative attention that he has been receiving lately.

Robbie Malinga Jnr stated that to the world he seems fine, but it is when he is alone and has time to feel, that he is not.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Robbie feels like him and his father were twins. The bond that he has now lost has left a gaping hole in his life that he is unsure on how to fill. Robbie said that it is super hard to adjust.

With it only being seven months since his father’s passing, Robbie is still going through the healing process.

The days just before his father’s passing are some of the days that he holds most dear. He said that he can remember them clearly and that it is something he will cherish for life.

Robbie highlighted the fact that his father always made time for him and his little sister. Sunday afternoons are especially hard as this was the time when they would all spend together.

His goal now is to work hard and uphold his father’s name, despite what others think he is trying to do.

There has been a lot of smack talk with regards to Robbie’s life style choices, but that does not worry him. He said that the people who matter know the truth and that is all that matters to him. He also stated that he is extremely grateful for all that his father has provided for him and that he has not taken it for granted.

Robbie is not fazed by the haters and found the fact that people made a big deal about him using his father’s Instagram account, rather amusing.

He says that people think that they know him by what they read and see in the media, but that is not who he is. Robbie stated that he is a guy who likes to laugh and that is what he does to the haters.
