Social media goes on manhunt for missing Brutus from The Queen

Fans of popular Mzansi Magic drama The Queen have launched a Twitter "manhunt" to find Brutus.

The favourite character is apparently still missing following the dramatic boat explosion during Shaka and Mmabatho's wedding.

Tweeps are fervently hoping that Brutus is okay so he can continue entertaining them. Briefly.co.za compiles some reactions from fans below.

Several tweeps put out a "missing person" alert.

Some fans even said if Brutus is no longer on The Queen, they won't be watching it anymore.

For some, it's hard to imagine The Queen without Brutus.

Some tweeps followed a similar pattern of reactions following the passing of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.

Fans were also quick to start the hashtag #BringBackBrutus.

One tweep called for a national holiday if Brutus has indeed passed away.
