- Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has snapped up young and promising Kaizer Chiefs defender Tristan Moses a winner of the Diski Shield under coach Arthur Zwane

Young and promising defender Tristan Moses has joined Mamelodi Sundowns Briefly.co.za can reveal. Moses a winner of the Multi Disk Shield has reportedly signed a long term deal. He began his career at English premiership side Fulham's Under 7 side before returning to South Africa. He has played for a number of junior local teams but according to Kick Off, it was the Kaizer Chiefs junior coach Athur Zwane who took him to Naturena in 2015. The player was instrumental in the Chief's junior side as they claimed the inaugural Multi Choice Diski Shield under the tutelage of Zwane. The young defender thanked the Brazilians for showing immense faith in him. " I would like to thank Mamelodi Sundowns and the president for showing great faith in me", explained the youngster to Goal.com

The Brazilians pointed out that the player would immediately join their junior ranks under juniors coach David Notoane as he seeks to prove to Mosimane he is ready to challenge for a spot in the centre back positions currently occupied by season campaigners Rivaldo Cooetze, Wayne Arendse, Motjeka Madisha and Ricardo Nascimento.

The player arrives at the club that has signed Lyle Lakay from Cape Town City, Reece Evans also from the mother city alongside a number of other acquisitions coach Pitso Mosimane hopes will bring him continental glory once more as the club competes in the CAF Champions League.
