- Convicted racist Vicki Momberg is accused of still being verbally racist, even behind bars
- Momberg allegedly called prison wardens immature and uneducated
- Momberg's lawyer will argue that the video evidence against her was tampered with in an attempt to overturn her sentence
Vicki Momberg was found guilty of being racist but apparently, her behaviour didn't change when she was in prison.
The former estate agent was released on R2 000 bail on the 2nd of August, as reported on earlier by Briefly.co.za.
She has served 4 months of her sentence and was given leave to appeal her conviction.
The Citizen reports that Momberg ranted against correctional officers and called them immature and uneducated.
This is according to Mocheta Monama, spokesperson for the department of correctional services.
Momberg is also accused of using language that is so foul, those involved did not want to repeat her words.
Convicted racist Vicki Momberg was charged twice while in jail for “verbal assaults” against prison officials, TimesLive has reported.
Momberg and her lawyer Kingdom Onah have 15 days to hand in their argument as to why her sentence and conviction should be overturned.
It is believed Onah will argue that the video evidence of Moberg's racist behaviour was actually tampered with. There will also be brought to the High Court's attention Momberg's mental state during the incident.
Dr Leon Fine found that Momberg was suffering from temporary insanity when the incident happened.
