- She expressed pride in her nursing journey, but her photo got some Mzansi men thirsty
A young trainee nurse shared a photo of herself and her equipment on Twitter recently to express pride in her nursing journey.
Tholakele Nkomo, from Pretoria, wrote that she still has a long way to go but is proud of where she is now, Briefly.co.za learned.
Her tweet inspired thousands of South Africans, garnering over 3,800 likes and 200 retweets.
Tweeps commended the Bachelor of Nursing Science graduate for her showing dedication to her profession. They also wished her all the best.
Others referred to her as an inspiration.
However, some Mzansi men thirsted after Tholakele.
Nursing is indeed a calling that more South Africans are pursuing with dedication.
Recently, Briefly.co.za covered the inspiring story of Phathiswa Sotyantsi, who rose from being a cleaner to a nurse at the age of 50.
