- Stars of the Real Housewives of Jozi say rich people have problems too
- The show started on Friday night and promises some explosive watching
- The stars say they don’t all get along and that some ladies are nice and some are nasty
Rich people also have real problems, well that is what Real Housewives of Jozi star Christall Kay says.
According to an interview in Sunday Times Live, she reportedly said,
“If you've got beautiful things you have to show them. At the end of the day some people will criticise and say there are so many starving children in South Africa and we are just bimbos, but we are showing that people who enjoy a lot of benefits also have struggles.”
Apparently her more than R18 million mansion in Kyalami Estates will feature prominently on the show.
She added that it was no all smooth sailing with the ladies on the show and stated that not all of the ladies get along. This should lead to some interesting viewing.
Another star on the new show is Evodia Mogase who is a vegetation manager for Eskom. The former teacher admits to changing her career when she realised her teaching profession would never allow her to buy the nice things she wanted in life.
"I work very hard, so I deserve everything I have. That's why I'm not afraid to be on a reality show like this. My hard work is why I got the name Madame. Because I'm a madame and I'm very glamorous and I have the style they want," she said adding that she wanted to show that hard work pays off.
Only two of her handbags are worth over R100 000.
She agrees with Christall’s estimation of the ladies on the show saying some are nice and some are nasty, but stated she believes the nicest is her daughter Mercy who is also on the show.
The other stars of the show include Naledi Willers, Brinnette Seopela and Busisiwe Ter Mors.
