South Africans react to awkward Pitso Mosimane and Robert Marawa interview

Saturday's match saw the feud between the 2 men reach new levels when interviews between them were intensely awkward.

In fact, IOL News reported it as "two of the most awkward interviews ever seen at a PSL match".

The first awkward interview happened during the pre-match chat at Loftus Versfeld. It was the first game of the new season and Kaizer Chiefs were facing Mamelodi Sundowns.

Mosimane seemed off-ish and didn't look like he felt like giving thorough answers to the questions asked by Marawa.

But the most talked about moments came after the match. The teams ended with a 1-1 draw and Marawa asked the usual post-match questions.

Then Mosimane asked who chose the Man of the Match.

Can I ask who chooses the Man of the Match. Is it SMSs like in the Shell Cup? Who chooses the Man of the Match?

After Marawa answered that Khama Billiat was chosen by the commentators as the Man of the Match, he asked why Mosimane wanted to know.

With dramatic flair, Mosimane answered: "What did he do?" and walked away.

This incident got South Africans taking to social media to comment on it.

Some tweeps felt Mosimane was being unprofessional, while others thought Marawa should be replaced.
