A man from Hartesbeespoort, North West province, recently fooled three women when he arrived in a bakkie to pick them up on their first dates.
Karabo John Moa shared his hilarious story on Facebook, Briefly.co.za gathered. He said the "materialistic" ladies first saw him driving a Mercedes-Benz.
However, when he arrived in his bakkie for their first dates, they each turned back and walked away. One of them told Karabo, "You don't take me seriously."
Karabo accompanied his post with photos of himself in his bakkie as well as of his two fancy Mercedes-Benz cars.
His post went viral, drawing more than 10,000 reactions, 1,600 comments and 5,200 shares so far.
The story found its way to Twitter, where it has also gone viral. Many tweeps praised Karabo for testing the loyalty of the ladies upfront.
Some tweeps shared similar experiences.
Some ladies said they wouldn't mind being driven in a bakkie.
However, some commenters disagreed with Karabo's approach.
