Sindiswe van Zyl, the popular doctor dubbed "Dr Twitter," and her husband Marinus celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary on 6 August.

As Briefly.co.za reported recently, the Johannesburg-based doctor often gushes over her hubby on Twitter, especially about his beard.

It wasn't different on their anniversary. Sindiswe shared interesting experiences from their marriage, including how Marinus has been supportive.

In one funny story, she recalled how Marinus backed out of their 10th marriage anniversary party because she came up with matching outfits that he didn't fancy.

Sindiswe also remembered how she "messed up" the step dance on their wedding.

The couple also went through the all-too-common relationship talking point — who squeezes the toothpaste tube at the middle.

Sindiswe had a few pieces of advice for newly married couple as well as those welcoming their first kids.

Tweeps congratulated the proud doctor and her hubby.

Sindiswe thanked her followers for their anniversary best wishes.
