On Monday it was announced that former EFF member of parliament Sipho Mbatha went on the join the United Democratic Movement (UDM)- and it sparked quite the response.
Sipho Mbatha jumped the EFF ship to join Bantu Holomisa’s party and it gave tweeps a lot to talk about.
Taking to the social media platform, Thabiso Dlamini shared the news about Mbatha’s move to the UDM.
“So Sipho Mbatha (EFF MP) has left EFF and joined UDM because he has had enough of Malema’s dictatorship,” he captioned the post.
Briefly.co.za decided to gather 10 brutally honest responses to Sipho joining the UDM.
Social media user @Makwena_Lapane wrote, “We wish him all the best in his new political home, but frankly speaking he won't be missed at all.”
Another tweep, @vusiking, added: “He left when we are about to increase the votes to 3million, anyway UDM is an extended branch of the EFF. The General has pride for now, with time, he will join the EFF n Mbatha can continue leading without the General.”
”Is useless bcos UDM leader is always with EFF and vote for EFF. So the guy must think twice just join Land or Death. We Kno they fired you bcos you ward EFF got 2 votes but in ur house the number of voters alone is 10. Who are u representing,” @lesetja2 commented.
