Some fans were excited to see Phemelo in her new role as she arrived to mourn the death of Roy, who is also her brother.

However other viewers weren’t too convinced about the new character.

Keeping with tradition, each new character comes with their own drama and Adelaide is no exception.

Fans are anticipating a confrontation with her and Roy’s wife, Cleo who is not impressed with Adelaide’s arrival.

Fans might be distracted by the drama on the show, many still have not yet moved on from Roy’s passing.

Briefly.co.za learned that the death of Brother Roy has left a huge hole in fans’ hearts and nothing will be able to fill it.

While she may be new to the show, Phemelo is a veteran in the acting industry as she previously acted as Khensani Moroka in Generations.

ZAlebs reports that she took a break from acting for five years to become a producer and presenter on Radio 702 but she will once again grace the silver screen in her role on ‘The Queen’.
