The Twitter account dedicated to celebrating African women, @SheSouthAfrica, shared Lundi's story and it is an inspiration to all young women in South Africa.

Lundi, 21, comes from Humansdorp and enrolled at Varsity College to study Accounting. This wasn't her passion and she decided to walk away from college and chase her real dream - television presenting.

Dropping out of college may sound like a simple thing to do but it can be a stressful and hard decision to make. Lundi chose to stick to her dream and is now enrolled at AFDA Cape Town and is studying Live Performance.

"I've never had a favorite subject back in High School so picking out what I wanted to study was always a struggle. One thing I was certain about was that I enjoyed public speaking. Which is how I came to the decision of Live Performance."

"It took an arm and leg to let my mother know about my decision to study Live Performance because it's not your normal everyday degree. She was very supportive and was disappointed I didn't tell her sooner."

To other women, Lundi says: "Don't let fear stop you from doing what you love. Not even fear of what your parents will say. You will always get better results when you do something you're passionate about and it naturally challenges you to wanna do better."

"There's nothing more amazing than a woman standing her ground and knows what she wants in life."

What a determined and inspiring young lady. Happy Women's Day South Africa!
