A video has taken social media by storm, which showed funeral goers enjoying a mini bar while the religious leader holds the service for the deceased.

Briefly.co.za gathered the footage shows a man dressed in a blue suit pouring drinks for the mourners as they sit and listen to the preacher speak.

According to the Daily Sun, no one knows where the funeral was or whose it was. The video was shared on Twitter by social media user Dumisani Hlophe.

"Can someone please explain this?" the governance specialist simply captioned the video.

Needless to say, the video gathered quite the response from social media users, who could not believe their eyes.

Mogale Thabo (@MogaleThabo3) wrote, "They must respect the dead. Let them do it at your house. This new generation has no morals."

However, not everyone found the footage shocking, in fact, some tweeps believed it was a good idea to serve drinks at a funeral.

Sejato Paledi, who goes by the Twitter handle @sejatopaledi, commented: "This is beautiful, it allows the to not think too much about the loss but focus on celebrating the life."
