98 year old grandmother receives her refurbished house on Women's Day

President Cyril Ramaphosa was in Paarl in the Western Cape where he delivered a keynote address to commemorate Women's Day. In Embokweni still in Paarl. 98 year old Nonini ''Mandungwa'' Adonis was receiving her refurbished 2 bedroom house two years after President Ramaphosa had promised her it would be refurbished.

The nonagenarian who suffers from severe athritis was grateful for the gesture after she had given up her home would be ever fixed. The senoir citizen was reduced to tears when she was given the refurbished house. Briefly.co.za learnt that the handover was part of the activities pencilled for Women's Day.
