Thando Thabethe celebrated Women’s Day this year on the courts… the Netball courts!

The 5th annual Thando Thabethe Women’s Day Netball Challenge took place on the public holiday and it was bigger and better than ever.

ZAlebs reported how numbers for the tournament increased from 12 teams the previous year to a whopping 20 this year. They showcased some amazing photos of the day courtesy of Austin Malema.

The ladies team included: Thando, Manaka Ranaka, Nolly Nolz, Khanya Mkhangisa, Ms Cosmo, and Zola Nombona, won the celebrity match beating the men's team, Lungile Radu, Reason, Thato Molamu, Motlatsi Mafatshe, Matli Mohapeloa, Shugasmaxx, and Slim Dope.

Thando recently warmed Tweeps hearts with a special message her late brother on his birthday.

Sibu, Thando’s brother, passed away in August last year. Thando took to social media to pay tribute to her brother on his special day, and expressed just how much she misses and loves her brother. She is still dealing with the sadness with his passing.
