Celebrating Mzansi: Ciara’s new music video gets shot locally, in Soweto

Definitely a celebration of Mzansi, Ciara’s new music video was shot in none other than our own Soweto.

Taking things even further in celebrating all things local, the R&B artist collabed with some serious local talent incluing DJ Black Coffee’s Soulistic Music.

ZAlebs reported that the visual were shot in Soweto during her recent baecation with hubby Russell Wilson.

And Tweeps are loving it.

The video was choreographed by another local, Sino Dunywa, who is a South African creative director and dancer and Ciara is flanked by local female dancers whom she tagged on her Instagram.

Creative director and photographer, Trevor Stuurman and designer Rich Mnisi styled the video and were assisted by Nthabiseng Molebeleli.

Briefly.co.za reported how Ciara and her hubby took on Cape Town to celebrate their second wedding anniversary.

The two posted a fun video revealing their location. It showed the couple having fun in Cape Town enjoying a romantic getaway.
