The latest episode sees MaMngadi preparing the liver to use in a ritual because the meat will mask the flavours of the other ingredients that were used.

While ‘The Herd’ deals with supernatural forces, viewers were still a little shocked to witness it.

Many of the show’s fans took to Twitter to express their disgust.

Some threatened to never eat liver again, while others swore not to let their wives cook the meat in the fear that they too will be cursed.

However, there was one tweep who could use a bit of MaMngadi's liver.

Viewers had another revelation during the episode when it turns out that one of the chickens is named ‘Khethiwe’.

TimesLIVE reported that the significance of the name is that actress Winnie Ntshaba used to play a character of the same name in ‘Generations’.

Since many people know her from that show, they often call her Khethiwe in ‘The Herd’ even though her character’s name is MaMngadi.

Tweeps also remarked about the irony of the mix-up and it’s certain that the writers of the show did it on purpose.
