- Alex and Uvruj Gwala have been dubbed the "God-Sent Boys"
- This is because of their kindness and concern towards animals in their area
- They prepare food and feed animals in need every Sunday
Two young brothers from Kwangcolosi, KwaZulu-Natal, have earned the nickname "God-Sent Boyz" because of their kindness and concern towards animals.
KZN Valley Dogs shared the inspiring story of Alex and Uvruj Gwala on its Facebook page recently, Briefly.co.za gathered.
They recently ran about 5km to one of KZN Valley Dogs' feeding stops and literally begged Mark, one of its officers, to drive back with them to feed starving dogs in their neighbourhood.
Mr Sithole, the delighted owner of the dogs, said Alex and Uvruj were sent by God, hence the nickname "God-Sent Boyz."
Since then, the brothers have joined Mark every Sunday to provide food to animals in need. In return, they get cat food for their cats and chicken feed for their grandmother's chickens.
About a week ago, Alex even came with cooked mince meat to help with the feeding. The brothers' enthusiasm and kindness have warmed the hearts of many South Africans.
As a result, KZN Valley Dogs' Facebook post has racked up over 1,400 reactions, 250 comments, and almost 800 shares. Commenters praised the "God-Sent Boyz."
