An unidentified man in Zambia has claimed to be depressed after agents of a Christian organisation put a stop to his wedding ceremony. The 26-year-old man had been set to marry a 15-year-old girl in Mumbwa district, Zambia.
It was gathered that on the day of the wedding, some agents of a Christian organisation dedicated to helping children and fighting injustice for them, had stormed the wedding ceremony.
The organisation known as World Vision put a stop to the wedding and promised to look after the 15-year-old, adding that she would get a sponsor for her education.
According to the organisation, the girl is too young to be getting married to anyone. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old claimed that the organisation was being unfair to him.
He expressed that he has become depressed due to the incident. The man said they publicly humiliated him by bringing the police to his wedding like he is a criminal.
