The EFF demands that Mugg & Bean in Somerset West reinstate their former black manager who was allegedly fired in favour of a white manager.

Andile Bozo was forced to approach the CCMA after he was recently retrenched. Andile says he was dismissed from his job and told the customers insisted on a white manager, according to an earlier report by Briefly.co.za.

Unathi Ntame, the EFF's Cape region spokesperson, said they were infuriated by what happened to Bozo and demands that he be given his job back.

TimesLIVE reports the EFF gave Mugg & Bean a deadline - if Bozo isn't reinstated by Friday 17 August there will be consequences.

The EFF feels Bozo's dismissal is "naked racism".

It is not clear yet exactly what the EFF plans to do if Bozo is not reinstated by Friday.

Mugg & Bean was not available for comment about the EFF's ultimatum.

The CCMA does not have a formal case yet but they have been informed about the unfair dismissal.
