National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) boss Shaun Abrahams was ordered to vacate his office on Monday and it led to a debate on Twitter over who should succeed him.
South Africans wasted no time nominating candidates as the replacement from Abrahams, whose appointment has been ruled unlawful by the Constitutional Court.
Host of SAFM Stephen Grootes took to Twitter to announce Vusi Pikoli rejected the possibility of taking over from Abrahams, so he asked tweeps to nominate someone they thought would be perfect for the job.
"Advocate Vusi Pikoli has said he's not available for the position of NPA head. Who would you suggest? A retired judge? Someone with political nous? Someone completely neutral? Any names you can throw in the ring?" Grootes asked.
Soon replies came streaming, with the majority of tweeps adding former public protector Thuli Madonsela would be perfect for the job.
She even managed to land Twitter Parody account Man's Not Barry Roux's vote for the NPA head position.

The discussion followed President Cyril Ramaphosa being handed a deadline to find a replacement for Abrahams.
As Briefly.co.za reported previously, Ramaphosa was given 90 days to appoint a new NPA head.
