Briefly.co.za learned that what sets her apart from all the other artists in music is that she is a spoken word poet. Her poetry is then taken and put to music.

TimesLIVE reports that after the episode of the MTV show aired, Busiswa’s fans were astonished to find out a bit more about the artist.

Some of the things that viewers learned were:

1) She has a tattoo of her stage name, Kalawa Chikita but she is slowly moving on from that persona and using her own name.

2) The artist makes R100k in a weekend, something most of us can only dream of.

3) Fans got to experience her raw poetry and want it to have a CD of it all on its own.

4) She is incredibly humble as she puts more focus on creating work that she is proud of instead of winning awards.
