Beautiful South African actress Andrea Dondolo has started her journey to motherhood at the inspiring age of 40.
The Queen’s star gave birth to her very first child last year when she was 39. No one knew that she had, had a child until she revealed her special son at her big 40th birthday bash late last month, reported Sowetan Live.
When Andrea was asked if the pregnancy was planned or not, she gave a little giggle and said, "At my age, there is no way it could have been a shock.”
Briefly.co.za learnt that Andrea and her bae had definitely planned it, but they made the choice to keep their decision to themselves for a while. Apparently her man even questioned why it had taken them this long.
As excited and blessed that they are to have their little man, Andrea highlighted that having a child is not a walk in the park.
Being an actress, she has a busy life. Andrea has managed to create a good balance between work and being a mom with the help of a full-time nanny, close friends and family.
Andrea has a lot of people she can turn to for advice when it comes to motherhood and she said that has been something she will always cherish. One of her strongest supports is her mom who is extremely excited about finally becoming a grandmother.
We have no idea who Andrea’s bae is and the bubbly actress has decided to keep that to herself. She says that it is not important and should not matter to anyone.
Being a mom has taught the star to be less selfish and also to be a little easier on herself.
