- Mary Wanjiku gave birth at Thika Level 5 hospital but her husband disappeared soon after visiting her at the facility
- He packed up his belongings and moved out with most of their household items
- She is now in dire need of help as the triplets lack basic necessities like food
Mary Wanjiku Nga'ng'a is counting her losses after the father of her three children ran for the hills shortly after she gave birth to their triplets; two girls and a boy.
The distraught mother narrated how a happy day turned gloomy when she welcomed her babies at Thika Level 5 hospital only to later learn her hubby was not ready to take up the huge responsibility.
In an interview Nancy intimated how she and her children were discharged from hospital and when she returned home, the husband was nowhere to be seen.
He packed up his belongings and moved out with most of their items.
"The triplets were born on May, 18 2018. We had no idea we were expecting three kids and it all came as a shock on the day of their delivery," she said.
The only things that remained in their home were Mary's clothes and some of her eldest child's belongings.
All through her pregnancy, the mother of four was told she was pregnant with one huge baby but little did she know that two more surprises were to come her way after nine months.
"I am doing the best I can. I had to move out of our marital home," she said.
Now she is relying on support from well-wishers as she also attempts to provide for her family.
"Any help will be appreciated. My neighbours and well-wishers have played a huge role in providing for the children," Mary opened up.
A netizen by the name Nancy Ndau got wind of the mother's cry and decided to launch a social media campaign to help out the mother of four.
