Manchester United have strongly denied reports that manager Jose Mourinho and star midfielder Paul Pogba were involved in a major bust-up.
United are livid with the claims calling them "absolute nonsense", insisting that Pogba and Mourinho's relationship was "good".
According to Sky Sports, United rejected an offer for the 2018 World Cup winner from La Liga champions Barcelona earlier in August.
Earlier in the week, various media outlets reported that Mourinho blasted Pogba telling him not to speak out to media but instead request for a transfer if he wanted out of Old Trafford.
And the Frenchman's sentiments following their Premier League's opening win against Leicester City on Friday, seemed to indicate that all was not well with the ex-Juventus player.
"If you are not happy, you cannot give your best," Pogba said following the victory.
Briefly.co.za learned that interestingly, Pogba had a brilliant game, managing to marshal the midfield and even score the opening goal in United's 2-1 win.
Later on, Mourinho showered praise on the Frenchman in a post-match interview describing the Frenchman as a "monster".
