When actor and presenter Sivuyile Ngesi shared his opinion the way protests happen in South Africa, he started a heated social media debate. People were divided between agreeing with his point of view and saying he does not understand the desperation behind these actions.
Protests in South Africa are often making headlines as things can easily get out of control and damage caused are always regrettable.
Siv Ngesi recently addressed South Africa about the protests and voiced his opinion that burning things down should stop.
Call me a coconut or a sell out all you bloody want! But this k@k of burning shit down to get what you want , must end! Only in SA can we justify this bullsh*t! Tsek
South Africans quickly started debating over the matter and it got heated, as opinions on this differ widely.
Most South Africans will agree that burning down buildings and causing damage is not a good thing but in most cases it only happens because of the desperate levels people are driven to.
This is the point people tried to make during the debate that followed Siv's tweet.
