- Mike Mangena has a 15 month old daughter with an unnamed female who is 37 years his junior
- After requesting a paternity test, his baby momma demanded the child's umbilical cord back
- She does not understand why he took it in the first place if he did not believe that the baby was his
Soccer icon Mike Mangena and his baby momma recently got into a heated struggle. Apparently, Mike is holding his child’s umbilical cord and refuses to give it to the mother.
The mother of his love child is a whopping 37 years his junior. With Mike being at the ripe age of 60, the name of the woman has been kept hush due to legal reasons.
The unnamed female has accused Mike of withholding their daughters’ umbilical cord, which she had apparently given him after the birth. This all struck after Mike requested a paternity test, reported Sunday World.
On August 1st, Mark and his baby momma appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate's Court after she filed that he was failing to pay child support. This is when Mike requested a paternity test.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Mike said that he would pay for the test and the unnamed female has apparently arranged the appointment.
Results of the paternity test will be revealed at their next court hearing which is due early next month.
The mother of the child was hurt by the request as she believes that Mike was trying to portray her as a gold digger or as a woman who sleeps around.
‘If he was not sure that the child was his, why did he take the umbilical cord?’, Mike’s baby momma asked herself. It was at this realization that she requested it back.
She said that she only gave him her daughters umbilical cord as he had asked for it to perform rituals to welcome her to the Mangena clan and introduce the child to his ancestors.
Mike’s baby momma is extremely confused about the current situation as she stated that he apparently requested twins from her after giving birth to her daughter.
The soccer icon was contacted for comment on the statements given by his baby momma, but he failed to answer or respond to questions that were asked via message to his cellphone.
