Photos and a video of an on-the-beach romantic proposal is giving South Africans on Twitter all the feels.

Zinhle Tshabalala shared the images on her Twitter profile over the weekend, Briefly.co.za learned. She accompanied them with the caption:

My girlfriend made me the happiest girl in the world today. I'm actually still in shock.

The adorable couple were on a picnic at an undisclosed beach location when the proposal was made. Portia showed off her flashy Andora engagement ring.

In the video, Zinhle's girlfriend is seen approaching her from behind before going down on her knees to propose.

Zinhle was apparently taken by surprise. She said yes and the couple capped off the adorable moment with several hugs.

Zinhle's tweets went viral, garnering more than 1,300 retweets and 6,600 likes so far. Tweeps congratulated the couple on their engagement.

Some remarked on how beautiful love and romantic engagements are.
