In an interview with Tumi Morake on SABC 3’s ‘WTF’, Tema said that one of the main reasons as to why she has been single all this time is because she has trust issues.

She also went on to say that looks are important to her and she struggles to give someone a chance if they do not meet her idea of the perfect man.

Tema has also struggled with dating seeing as a celebrity because she feels that more men approach because of her fame and not because they would like to get to know her for who she really is.

Briefly.co.za gathered that she has opened herself up to love and is starting the search to find that special someone, however she has some pretty strict criteria that her suitor will have to meet.

ZAlebs reports that her man must have skin that is lighter than hers because she finds that very attractive.

The actress also listed some of the qualities that she would like her partner to share.

She wants someone who is good-looking, patient, loving and has a strong faith just like her.

Tema also mentioned that she wants her man to look after her because she likes the traditional gender roles that men and women play in relationships.
