It is heartwarming to hear of stories where people with certain conditions or disabilities are offered an opportunity to succeed.
On Wednesday a video was shared on social media, which showed the amazing moment a man, Trevor, with Down syndrome got a promotion.
The footage shows Trevor's boss making an announcement, which was a promotion for the barista.
According to the footage, the store employs people with disabilities and they wanted to acknowledge the joy he brought to customers.
The video was shared by social media user Larry Kim, who goes by the Twitter handle @larrykim.
"#WednesdayWisdom This Barista with Down's syndrome got a promotion at work and he cannot stop smiling!" the video was captioned.
The video went viral on Twitter, gathering over 22 000 views in just one day. Tweeps were inspired by the store's gesture.
Social media user @dr_PoojaPathak wrote: "Superb that's the Outlook & Attitude which we really need all around the inclusion & participation of ppl not only wid #Downsyndrome but with #specialneeds or #neurodiversity in communities."
Another tweep, @BeLEAFingWithJB, added: "This is proof that there’s still some human kindness and compassion left in this world."
