- Pastor Ziggi Aussel is the founder of the SA Prayer Embassy movement
- He often walks into establishments to pray and spread compassion
- He surprised staff at a fire station recently when he walked in wearing a traditional outfit
When Pastor Ziggi Aussel walked into the Lonehill Fire Station recently, firefighters there thought he might be a madman.
He was dressed in a traditional outfit and was carrying a shield. However, they soon realised he came on a heartwarming mission — to spread kindness and love.
A firefighter, Kim Williams, shared the story on her Facebook page, Briefly.co.za learned. She said Pastor Ziggi came to the station to pray for them.
According to Good Things Guy, Pastor Ziggi and his wife are founders of the SA Prayer Embassy Movement. Its mission is to promote spirituality and God-fearing leadership.
Kim described Pastor Ziggi's mix of traditional regalia:
Pastor Ziggi told me that he wears a turban on his head for the Indian population, Ndebele necklace, Zulu beads across around his neck, Pedi shells around his ankles, and other pieces to represent all of South Africans and not to forget his shield.
The pastor dresses this way to attract attention from people so he can spread his compassion.
This is not the first time Pastor Ziggi has drawn attention with his spiritual mission. He has also been to the Union Buildings many times with a Bible in his hand.
The determined pastor has been visiting government offices with his message for many years now.
