Solly Msimanga sent a message about his views on the ANC's tactic to win the 2019 elections, which included a coalition with the EFF.
Briefly.co.za learned Julius Malema took to Twitter to share a screenshot of an alleged text message he sent on a WhatsApp group.
"Cyril wants to legitimize his leadership in the ANC and apparently he's eyeing the return of the Metros before the elections as a "present" to the ANC Constituency that's lost confidence in them. The deal is that the ANC will go into a coalition with the EFF," part of the alleged message read.
Somehow Malema got his hands on the message and posted it on Twitter, and it sparked a response from tweeps, who ended up dragging the Tshwane mayor.
Thabile Angel Majola, who goes by the Twitter handle @Thabile_B7, wrote: "Solly is failing Tshwane now he comes with excuses."
Social media user @mafiwa2 added: "Solly's u controllable libido and his love for whiteness are two things that will eventually destroy him. Only people who fail start with such wild conspiracy theories to try and hide their failures. He was given same time as Herman but look at the difference. This boy is busted."
